In the fall of each year, the Kaytee Avian Foundation Board Members vote on many worthy proposals submitted to the KAF. In 2008, the KAF Board decided to fund the following organizations.

Wild Bird Feeding Industry
The Association of Avian Veterinarians’ website has information on the AAV including a search for an avian veterinarian in your area.
Cornell Lab of Ornithology is a source of information for wild birds, internal structures of birds, how they fly, other bird related information, and provides a list of links. The KAF has sponsored them in past years.
Nature’s Edge Therapy Center, Inc. provides Speech, Occupational and Physical Therapy to individuals incorporating Animal-Assisted Therapy.
Wildlife Hospital and Rehabilitator located in Lake Geneva, WI.
World Bird Sanctuary located in Valley Park, MO in now home to Charlie, our beloved Thick-billed Parrot. The World Bird Sanctuary Mission Statement is to "preserve the earth’s biological diversity and to secure the future of threatened bird species in their natural environments. We work to fulfill that mission through education, propagation, field studies and rehabilitation."
