FINCHES FLOCK TO NEW KAYTEE FINCH STATION FEEDERS

CHILTON, WI (August 2007)Whether new to bird feeding or a bird-feeding aficionado an ideal gift for every backyard and patio are the new KAYTEE® Finch Station feeders.

Introduced by KAYTEE, the most trusted company in wild bird food, the feeders offer everything that people want in a feeder. It is easy to use and attracts flocks of finches.

“There are three things people consider most important when selecting a feeder,” said Connie Haltinner, KAYTEE Wild Bird Brand Manager. “People want a feeder that birds will use. They also want a feeder that is easy to fill and easy to clean. The KAYTEE Finch Stations offer all of these.”

The KAYTEE Finch Station comes in three sizes, the largest holding 14 pounds of seed. Each feeder is comprised of a patent-pending dome reservoir which stores additional seed. Hanging from each dome are feeding socks. Depending on the size selected, there are one, two or four feeding socks. Each sock is made of soft, flexible mesh cotton to provide a large surface area for finches to comfortably eat.

“Multiple feeding socks allow room for lots of finches to perch comfortably on the soft, pliable netting, giving your favorite gift recipient the opportunity to observe a number of finches at the feeder,” said Haltinner.

The unique cover at the top of the dome makes it easy to fill and clean the feeder.

KAYTEE Finch Station feeders are designed to work with KAYTEE Nyjer® and Wild Finch Blends; coupons for each product are included.

Each Finch Station comes with one set of replacement feeding socks. The feeders meet the new Wild Bird Feeding Institute feeder quality standards and are sure to be a hit with the hard-to-please gift recipient.
