Blue Fronted Amazon
The Blue-fronted Amazon is one of the best known of the amazons because of its popularity worldwide as a pet. It can be outgoing and sociable but can also bond strongly with one person. Amazons are very good at mimicking speech and can have a large vocabulary.

In the wild, this specie of amazon forages in pairs or small flocks throughout the forested areas of Brazil, Bolivia and northern Argentina. In flight, amazons are very conspicuous as they continually screech in route.
