Green-cheeked Conures are one of the smallest of the conures. They have a quiet voice with a big personality. They are playful and bold and excellent whistlers.

In the wild, these small conures are generally seen foraging in large flocks in the top of trees. They inhabit the central part of South America in lowland forests. Conures are also known as neotropical parakeets.
