this product cost a lot for what you get
First cage I bought for my 3 female rats they chewed right through the corner bottom and escaped I bought another (I know pretty foolish, but thought it was just a fluke) Sad to say they also chewed through the plastic on this one, bottom corner, same as the first. I complained to Petsmart and after a lot of hassle Kaytee sent me a new bottom. Yep, you guessed it, my darlings chewed through this one too, same spot. sigh... So I bought two cheaper cages and put them together I have had no problems since but of course my girls do not have as much room. I do not understand why company's make such cheap products and charge a fortune. These are rats, they chew, get it, Kaytee?
