AWESOME So I use this product as a main product for my hamster, and liter for my Guinea Pig. I use carefresh for my hamster's sleeping area, and use this product all the rest of the cage. It is super liquid absorbent... but not very spell absorbent. I suggest if using this as main bedding like I do... spot clean every day to prevent smell build up. For larger animals, such as Guinea Pigs, Ferrets, Rabbits, Chinchillas, and other larger animals, I suggest this as litter only. I am in the process of potty training my guinea pig, and just this product as the bedding wouldn't cut it. The larger small animals (Rabbits, Guinea Pigs, Ferrets, Chinchillas, Etc.)have larger waste then small, small animals (Hamsters and rats, and mice etc.) This product wouldn't absorb all the waste that of the larger small animals. Overall I really LOVE THIS PRODUCT!!! HOPE THIS HELPS Just a little con... it is a tad expensive March 3, 2013
The Best Bedding Superior to other pulp or paper-based litter, it keeps our rabbit's litter boxes odor-free. July 20, 2012
Soft granule blend = disastrous This bedding got stuck in my guinea pigs' hole, and it stayed there while clogging up all the feces and urine that were supposed to come out, but couldn't due to the blockage caused by the Soft Granule Blend. This sand-like bedding is also very burdensome to clean because it is so small and hard to find, while it gets stuck in my guinea pigs' fur. It gets stuck on the veggies, making my guinea pigs unintentionally consume it. This will create health problems in the future and by using this bedding, you are putting your guinea pigs' health at risk. DO NOT USE THIS BEDDING! May 5, 2012
love this bedding I've had pet rats for five years now and I've never had a bedding that controls their odor so well! The bedding can get a bit messy and it's a little pricey , but it's totally worth it! February 13, 2011
