The different colored pieces are formulated to have the same nutrition in each bite so if your companion pet only likes the heart piece they will not be missing out on any nutritional benefits. However, there is a different formula exact product for each type of bird or small animal exact product to ensure your companion animal is getting the proper nutrition. Exact diet is scientifically formulated such that the colored pieces in exact Rainbow Cockatiel are different than the colored pieces in the exact Rainbow Parrot.
